The absolute best restaurant I have ever been to!!!! Amazing staff and food! Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming, feels like coming home. Food is so good, the wings are unmatched with the rooster rub!
Great food and amazing service. When we sat down one of the servers was at our table with water before we even sat down. Everything was timed well so we were not waiting for someone to take our order. The server also came to out table asking if everything was to our liking, and checked in again a while later to see if we needed anything.
Great place. Good vibes incredible atmosphere!!! The staff was so friendly and our waitress donna was awesome. I had the house burger it was cooked perfectly!!!
I would have given 5 stars, but they charged $1 for a small side of mayonnaise. They didn't tell us until the bill came. Also, they don't give free drink refills, so be ready to pay if you drink more than a small mason jar of your drink. Food was amazing. Service was good. It made me sad the experience was ruined by surprise fees.

We stumbled across the Rustic Rooster on our way to our Airbnb. What a delightful find. The staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful. They allowed us to sit outside (covered patio) with our dog even though it was raining lightly. The food was delicious. I had salmon with sweet potato fries, my husband ate a hamburger with fries. His medium rare hamburger was cooked to perfection. If you go try the blueberry pie it is definitely worth the calories and money.
UPDATE: Second visit was as good as the first. Great food and service.
Nachos were basically chips, chips, and more chips. Arugula and Brussels sprouts salad was the best item I had. Fish tacos didn’t taste fresh, to the point where I threw them out after two bites. My boyfriend gave me a bite of his bean burger, and it tasted fresh and homemade. Poutine wasn’t anything special - just get the regular fries and save the $3 upcharge for a tiny amount of gravy.
Having just arrived in Mt Holly, and getting late we found this awesome little place. Wonderful staff who were welcoming and showed us to outside tables so we could eat and Holly Doodles could hang out with us. Food was excellent, and the Blueberry pie was just delicious 😋. We will be going back soon.
